What Do I Teach?
Academy 218 offers online private tutoring with tailored math lessons designed to meet each student’s individual needs. We focus on exam preparation, and building a strong foundation in fundamental concepts, all while fostering a positive attitude toward learning and problem-solving. To supplement instruction, we also provide custom worksheets that reinforce skills and encourage independent practice.
Math + ELA:
Grades 2- Grade 8
From building strong number skills in the early grades to mastering fractions, decimals, and pre-algebra by middle school—we help students grow with confidence in math.
State Exam Prep
We offer targeted test prep for state exams, including the New York State Regents and SATs, helping students gain confidence and improve performance.
High School Math
From equations and functions to shapes, proofs, and advanced algebraic concepts—our high school math support covers Algebra 1 +2, Geometry, and Precalculus.
College Math
We support students in entry-level college math, covering a mix of foundational algebra, functions, equations, and problem-solving skills needed for success in general education courses.
